Cookie policy

We use a tiny number of strictly necessary cookies. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics that fingerprint you.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Some cookies are essential to make a site work — for example, to keep you signed in as you move from page to page. Others are used to track behaviour across sites; we don't use those.

Cookies we set

Find a Physio sets only strictly necessary cookies. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) these don't require consent, but we still tell you about them up front and link this page from our cookie banner.

Essential

  • sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token — set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in. Session-scoped and HttpOnly.
  • fap_cookie_consent — remembers that you've dismissed the cookie banner so we don't show it again. 1 year, no personal data.

Analytics

Where Plausible analytics is enabled (see the script tag in the page source for confirmation) we collect anonymous, aggregated page-view counts. Plausible is a UK GDPR-friendly analytics service that does not set cookies, does not collect IP addresses in identifiable form, and never builds a cross-site profile of you.

Third-party cookies

We do not embed third-party content that drops cookies on our pages. The only third-party cookies you may encounter are:

  • Google Maps tiles in the static map image — Google may set cookies inside the iframe scope.

Managing cookies

You can clear and block cookies from your browser at any time. If you block essential cookies the site won't be able to keep you signed in or send a booking request, but you can still browse.

Changes

If we ever decide to add an analytics tool that sets cookies or anything beyond strictly necessary, we'll update this page, change the cookie banner to a proper consent dialog, and not load the script until you opt in.
