Terms of service

These terms cover everyone who uses Find a Physio — patients booking appointments, practitioners listing their services, and anyone browsing.

Last updated: 13 May 2026

1. Who we are

Find a Physio (the “Platform”) is operated by HL London Ltd, registered in England and Wales. By using the Platform you agree to these terms; if you don't, please don't use the site.

2. What the Platform does

Find a Physio is a directory and booking-request platform. We connect patients with private physiotherapists, sports therapists, sports massage therapists, osteopaths and chiropractors. Patients send a booking request through the site; practitioners respond, agree a time, and arrange payment with the patient directly. We do not collect or hold patient payments.

We are not a healthcare provider. We do not provide treatment, diagnosis, advice, prescriptions or any clinical service. All clinical care is delivered by the practitioner you book with, who is independently regulated and responsible for the standard of care they provide.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter contracts. Accounts and bookings made on behalf of a child must be made by a parent or legal guardian, who is the contracting party.

4. Patient accounts and bookings

  • You agree to give accurate name, contact and (where requested) location information so we can connect you with a suitable practitioner.
  • When you submit a booking request, no payment is taken on the Platform. The practitioner will respond within 48 hours to confirm or decline; if confirmed, you arrange payment directly with the practitioner using whichever method they accept.
  • You can cancel a confirmed booking subject to the individual practitioner's cancellation policy (visible on their profile). Any refund of money you have paid the practitioner is a matter between you and them.
  • You agree not to use the Platform to harass practitioners or submit requests you do not intend to honour.

5. Practitioner listings

  • Practitioners self-declare their credentials. We verify regulator numbers against the relevant public register where one exists (HCPC, GOsC, GCC etc.) but we cannot guarantee that information remains accurate. Patients should make their own enquiries before booking.
  • By listing on the Platform, practitioners warrant that they hold all required registrations, qualifications, and insurance for the services they offer in the UK, and that all content they upload is theirs to share.
  • Practitioners agree to honour confirmed bookings, deliver care to the standard expected by their regulator, and respond to enquiries professionally and promptly.
  • We may suspend or remove a listing at any time if we have a reasonable basis to believe it breaches these terms, applicable law, or our community standards.

6. Pricing and fees

  • Patients pay nothing to the Platform. There are no booking fees, service fees, or payment processing fees. The full session price you see on a practitioner's profile is paid directly to the practitioner.
  • Practitioners get their first six months on the Platform free of charge. After that, the listing fee is £49.99 a year. The subscription does not include any per-booking commission.
  • The Platform is not party to the payment between patient and practitioner. Refunds, receipts and tax invoices are handled by the practitioner.

7. Reviews

  • You may publish a review only after a completed booking. Reviews must be honest, your own first-hand experience, and free of defamation, harassment or unlawful content.
  • You can edit your review for 24 hours after posting. After that window, contact us if you need to make a substantive correction.
  • We may hide reviews that breach these terms or are flagged by our moderation process. We don't edit reviews to make a practitioner look better.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, our brand, and the design of the site belong to HL London Ltd. Practitioner content (photos, biographies, qualifications) belongs to the practitioner who uploaded it; by uploading, they grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform and in related marketing.

9. Disclaimers

  • The Platform is provided “as is”. We don't warrant uninterrupted availability — we aim for high uptime but can't guarantee it.
  • Information about practitioners is provided by the practitioners themselves. Where regulator numbers are listed we verify them on our best efforts but you should still confirm registration directly with the regulator before clinical care.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses arising from a practitioner's clinical decisions, conduct, or treatment outcomes. If you have a clinical concern, raise it with the practitioner's regulator.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any other claim arising out of or in connection with the Platform is capped at £100, or — if you are a practitioner — the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You can close your account at any time from /dashboard/settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms or use the Platform unlawfully.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date counts as acceptance.
